News Briefs...

In North Yorkshire, England, a farmer was lifted off of the ground and then dropped by a funnel cloud. He was not harmed. A local pole in England shows Britain's think tornados suck.

In Herefordshire, England , a cat survived having a crossbow bold shot in its neck. The cat, Puccini, was ok and is doing fine, though not happy about being shot. (Puccini Mad, Puccini SMASH!!) Frankencat T-shirts soon to be available on cafepress.com.

NASA actually managed to smash a huge crater in the comet they were trying to hit. Scientists say it will go a long way to unlocking the mysteries about comets, and the early universe. What I find amazing is that NASA was able to send a probe way out in space to hit a comet on a specific day and it worked, yet they can't get a glorified airplane to circle the planet without disaster.

In a related story, NASA is being sued by a part time astrologist who claimed by altering the comet, NASA has negatively effected her work and changed the path of fate. NASA responded by announcing a new mission in which a school bus sized probe will be launched, circle the earth and the if all goes well, on October 31st, will smash into the woman's house.

London won the bid for the 2012 Olympics, bringing a third rejection for France in the past few bids. If the French want to get the Olympics to come to the Starbucks of Europe, (and by starbucks I mean, pretencious, inflated sense of selfworth and filled with fluff) perhaps they should consider a shower, and electing a leader who isn't an asshat.

Finally, after blowing up many a firework, I am happy to report, still 10 fingers and 10 toes...

Kisses...
